The Kayzr is an excellent Vargan by Volgutov of Russia. This instrument tends to lend itself well to intermediate and advanced players.

This harp flows like the Kazyr river! Similar to the Sage vargan, but being larger and lower in tone. The frame is more thin and sound is deep and rich with a pure bell ring and good sustain. Gaps are tight allowing for a high sensitivity to articulation and volume is of a good level. Harp plays very well inward and outward. Trigger flows smoothly through fast and slow play. Stability and ease of play makes this approachable to the beginner but bodes well with more intermediate players. Pure sound and high sensitivity will satisfy the advanced player. An excellent vargan and value from Russia.

Handmade in nature and tone may vary slightly with each individual piece. These vargan come with a magnetic ball installed in the loop trigger! Remove the ball for a slightly higher pitch. Two instruments in one!
