Schipanov melodic Vargan is a beautiful work of art that crisply rings like a bell. A smoothly polished steel harp that feels as good as it looks. The feel and sound lies somewhere blended between the sound of a Norwegian Munnharpe and the feel of Yakut Khomus. A well done melding of styles.

With clean enough bell rings for precise open/close melodics, while each note rings out with a fire that drives a dancing beat. When breathing is done heavily and rhythmically, the harp takes on a twang that would fit right in with any hillbilly jig. When breathless play is applied the harp calls to outer space and the sounds of ancient ways. Expertly gapped and balanced, the E2 is a masterpiece of a harp and a joy to play for the advanced musician.
