The smallest of the Rekha Round Morchang, the Mini Round is hand forged by Rekha of Rajasthan.

The Mini has a simple unsaturated tone and is softer in tone and volume than its larger siblings. The reed is on the upper end of medium stiffness and supports both slow and fast play. Open Close glottis play in the Rajasthani style works well and soft melody is possible.

This is a quiet, unsaturated harp and advanced open/close glottis control are a minimum requirement of the instrument. This instrument requires more effort in this sense than other similar harps.

We carry the Mini in a Tailess option as well! Choose during order. These Morchang are hand forged and may vary slightly in sound, shape and appearance. They are tuned by the maker by ear, close to a standard note. Our in house harpsmith can tune your new instrument up to the next highest key by choosing Special Tuning Service from our shop! Note will be engraved on the tuned instruments back frame for easy reference.
