An attractive design by Master Shepelev of Siberia, which includes a lightweight wooden necklace case that shows very unique grain patterns.

The small Shepelev Khomus rings clear like a bell when struck. The overtones are broad and clear with a good range. Open close/glottis technique shines through cleanly and the harp performs very well with a wide variety of playing styles. Responds well when breath is applied and the clean bell like tones fade away and are combined with a curious droning characteristic that open up many musical as well as meditative characteristics. These Khomus are typically untuned and will fall anywhere between C2 and D2.

A very good instrument that is quite capable in the hands of advanced players, especially those with an advanced skill level on open/close and breathing. Harp is supplied with wooden and necklace case. Appearance, sound, and case design will vary slightly from piece to piece.
