Master Ovcharenko's Molfar Drymba is his newest design!

The Molfar is an affordable and lightweight melodic Drymba. They have clear and crisp bell tones mixed with very slight saturation. Although inward plucking is preferred, it will take outward plucks with ease, giving the Molfar a more techno-robotic sound. These Drymba are handmade and detailed, making each one an individual piece of functional art! The Molfar have a short sustain, making them a great pairing for fast, percussive style play. They respond very well with open/close glottis techniques and are quite sensitive to breath. 

These Drymba now have the option for a 3D printed necklace style carrying case! Perfect for busking and protection during travel.

Most Molfar are untuned, and fall on the high midrange scale. Most are between G² and C³ and can be tuned to the nearest whole note by adding the Permanent Tuning Service to your cart.
