Sesulka Jakut Brumle
Sesulka Jakut Brumle
These Brumle Jaw Harps by Sesulka of Czechia are great upper end beginner harps, which will also satisfy the advanced player. They are very melodic and have only slight saturation. These harps are tuned by the maker and includes an engraving on the back of the frame for easy reference!
The Jakut is styled after the traditional Yakut Khomus. They are extremely melodic with very little saturation. These Jakut are loud! Their bell ring is crisp and clear, whether you are playing inward or outward. They are extremely versatile as they are great for slow meditative journeys but are suited well for fast percussive play. The midrange scale of the Jakut is great for playing along with others. In the right hands they could be considered concert and recording quality! Open/close glottis techniques as well as breathy play can be achieved with these Brumle.
Each instrument comes with a simple wooden case for harping on the go! Due to the handmade nature of these harps, the tone, coloring, case, and size may vary sightly from piece to piece. These instruments are are hand crafted one at a time. They are made in the Jakutic process with no machinery and only basic tools.
